Preparing to Print your Label

(Click any location of the above picture for more information on that function)

1: Select the location on the page you wish to print the label by clicking on the label you
wish to use. The page shown will have either 6 or 10 locations, depending on the label.
If there are 6 boxes shown, you need to use 3-1/2" by 4" labels.
If there are 10 boxes shown, you need to use 2" by 4" labels.
If there are no boxes to select, you need to use a full-sheet without individual labels.

I recommend that you start by printing on the bottom of the sheet, working
    your way up the sheet.

2: Setting the vertical offset.                                                                    (top)

Printers are not all equal!
If you find that the label is printing to high (as above), click the down arrow as needed.
If you find that the label is printing to low, click the up arrow as needed.
Each click of the arrow will move the label up or down a small amount.
Experiment to find the setting that works best for you.
The selected offset location is automatically saved for future printings

3: Print line around labels.                                                                        (top)

If you select this option, a thin black line will be printed at the edges of the label. This
is particularly helpful for labels that have no background color.

4: Show printer setup dialog                                                                     (top)

If this option is selected, you will be shown the system printer setup dialog box
after you click [print]. This will allow you to set up your printer for the proper
dpi setting, select the type of paper you are using, etc.

5: Click the print button to print your label                                             (top)

Be sure to allow ample time for the label to dry before handling!

For longevity of the label, you may wish to apply a "fixative" to the label
after printing.  This will help keep the label from smudging when handled.
There are even products which claim to block UV rays, which will help
keep the labels from fading over time when exposed to sunlight. Check
with an art supply store for an appropriate product.

6. Print Full Sheet of This Label    (Advanced Users)                             (top)

Click This Button if you wish to print a full sheet of the displayed label.
Printing will always begin with the top/left label.

7. <Exit> button returns you to the editing screen                                (top)

8.  Edit and Resize functions are not available from the print setup screen.     (top)
