You can click on the text box on the template or click the corresponding "radio button"

2: Type in the desired text into the text box. If you press <RETURN> while entering    (top)
text, the text will be split into multiple lines.

3: Increase or decrease the font size of the selected text by clicking the up and down arrows.

4: Center the text box (left/right) on the template.                                                           (top)
Double click the button to re-center ALL text boxes.

5: Set the text to BOLD, ITALIC, or UNDERLINE by clicking these buttons.              (top)
You can select none, all, or any combination of these attributes.

6: Set Centered or Left-Justified                                                                                  (top)

For the majority of labels, you will want to leave set as <centered>.
<Left Justified> is used primarily for larger labels where you need to have
a "list" which is left justified.

The following two pictures should explain how each of these functions work:

7: Special characters, such as © and ®, as well as foreign language                            (top)
characters (Æ,á,ë,ô, etc) can be added to the text. Click the down-arrow
and scroll through the listing. Find the character you wish to add to the text
and click on it.( NOTE: The available special characters varies from font to font.)

8: Select the desired font from the list of available fonts.                                             (top)

9:  Remove the background color of the text box by clicking the [clr] button           (top).
This will position the text correctly in the template.

10: Additional lines of text (up to 4) can be added by clicking the [+] button.             (top)

11: Selecting the background color for the label  ADVANCED USERS ONLY   (top)
    - (
This function not available for all templates)
Clicking this button will bring up a system requestor which will allow you to select
the color you wish to use as the 'background' color for the label. Labels on old
boxes are rarely white - they have aged to be some shade of gray or brown. The
default colors for various labels were chosen based on my experience with old
labels. However, different printers will produce colors slightly differently. Feel free
to experiment with various colors to find the one(s) you prefer.
As a starting point, the following are the default (R)ed (G)reen (B)lue values:

        Greyish labels:    235,237,232
        Brownish labels:  255,250,220

For the most part, you will want all numbers to be range of about 150 to 255.            (top)
Remember: The color shown on the screen will be somewhat different from the
color that appears on the printed label (unless you are extremely lucky)

A complete discussion of colors and adjusting them is beyond the scope
    of this documentation.

11B: Selecting Background Texture   ADVANCED USERS ONLY   (top)
This option is in BETA testing format only. As with background colors,
it cannot be applied to all templates. This option will allow the user to apply
various types of "backgrounds" to the label to help make it look "old".
Use this "at your own risk" - NOTE: Any textures applied to a template
will NOT be saved with the other template information.

12: Selecting the Text Color                                                                                    (top)

Although the text on most labels is printed with black ink, there are occasionally
labels printed with other colors. Clicking this button will bring up the system
color requestor where you can select a color for the text. Once again, you may
want to experiment with various colors and shades to find that which works best
    on your printer.

13:  Save Template                                                                                                    (top)

After you have prepared your label, you may save the template, with all text, text
location, text attributes, colors, etc, by clicking this button. This will become the
default label the next time you load this template. If you have been experimenting
with different text and/or background colors and are not happy with the results,
DO NOT <save template>.... the next time you load the template, it will revert
    to the previously saved version.

14:  Click the <PRINT> button if you wish to print the label at this time.                    (top)
    ClickHere for more printing instructions

15:  Print Label Later:                                         ADVANCED USERS ONLY
Click this button if you wish to prepare a number of  different labels and                     (top)
print them all at a later time in one 'batch'. When     you have completed preparing
all the labels, click the <Print> button, then click the <Print Saved Labels> button.
ClickHere for more information on Batch Printing

16:  Print or Edit Saved Labels

button to take you to the screen where you can edit or print the labels.
